McGinty & White are Loser's Lounge impresario Joe McGinty, and singer/songwriter Ward White.
Their debut collaborative album, McGinty & White Sing Selections From The McGinty & White Songbook,
has received widespread critical praise, was recently named one of the five best albums of 2009
by New York Press (JR Taylor), and has been included on 2009 'Best Of' lists by Limewire and
Lucid Culture. M&W have been featured on WFMU and East Village Radio, and appear regularly as
musical guests for Upright Citizens Brigade. McGinty & White will accompany Wreckless Eric &
Amy Rigby on a string of Northeast tour dates in June of 2010.

McGinty & White are:
Joe McGinty is a composer, keyboardist and arranger who has worked with with the Psychedelic Furs, The Ramones, Deborah Harry, Ronnie Spector, Ryan Adams, Nada Surf, Jesse Malin, and many others. In the 90's he led the orchestral pop ensemble Baby Steps, and currently fronts the electronic/woodwind/cello project, Circuit Parade. McGinty is the founder and music director of NYC's Loser's Lounge tribute series, which has consistently played to sold out rooms since its debut in 1993.
Ward White is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who has written and produced five original albums, Artificial Light, Medicine, Lovely Invalids, Maybe But probably Not, and Pulling Out. Please buy them. His music has been featured on NPR, received notable mentions in New York Press, and he usually has pretty good hair. He is a regular performer with the Loser's Lounge series.
